“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Do you know the promise? Do you know God's promise for your life?
Do you know that the bible is filled with beautiful promises? So, how can we know this plan He has for us? And how can we walk confidently in it? …..Listen Up! Yep! you have to shut your ears to all the negativity around you and have ears only for GOD. This is the only way to be able to hear and know his promises after all who best to know the plan than the master planner?
His voice surpasses the world and it is that which we need in order to stay above the noise of the world. God has a plan and purpose for us that while it may not always be easy it will SURELY BE for our good and His glory .( It will end in praise)
- Stay Afloat - Keep your head up -
When God spoke this passage to the people of Israel it was during some very tough times, but he wanted their focus to be far from the current happenings. Instead, He wanted them to focus on the future, He wanted them to hold on to the hope, He wanted them to focus on the purpose.
The same is true for us. When challenges come our way, the likelihood is either to quit or change directions. But it is at this point that we are to become stronger by relying on the promises of God like the one in Jeremiah 29:11. He want's us, His people to remember that He would fulfil His Word, His promise to us.
God's promise to his children though may tarry surely will manifest. That point in your life that seem like it's all tumbling down to a halt? That phase that feel like it has all ended in nothing but waste? It is at that point that God always brings the expected end, the end you thought was never coming- it is at that very difficult point moment we need to keep believing that God is up to something, even if we can’t see it yet because that has been the plan all this while - God’s purpose
Finally let us bear in mind that all of God’s plans and promises for our lives begin with the cross right down to the tomb and finally to that beautiful resurrection that brings hope, takes away fears and gives incredible amazing strength.
God knows the plans he has for us, It will bring us to the end we expect, It will provide strength for our downtrodden moments, healing for our broken-heartedness, hope for the hopelessness and above all His peace of mind to put us at rest.
"No matter how it looks in the natural, God is with you! No matter what you are waiting on… no matter who is against you… no matter how someone has made you feel… what appears to be… God will appoint you, God will go before you, God will cut off your enemies. He will provide a place, He will plant you, He will elevate you, He will give you rest!" (Pastor Paula White)
